I love doing Story Book Photo Sessions. I must say though, that I haven't done one yet with TWO 3 1/2 year olds at the same time! It was tough to keep up!! There was so much exploring to do. To top it off, the weather that evening was beautiful!

There were ponds to check out. Maybe there could be frogs?

And there was so much more! All in all, it was a super good time with lots of material to make their very special custom photo story book.

What a fun (and very busy) evening! I can't wait to finish their book. I'm pretty sure they (and their parents) are going to like it. :)

PHOTO OF THE WEEK #8: "Alone"

There were so many fun photos from last weekend's visit to a friend's cottage in Gravenhurst.

While I was waiting for Ben to return from his super exciting ATV ride, walked around the garbage shed and discovered this all alone amongst the green foliage. I'm not so sure I like the title, but I couldn't think of anything else this morning to call it. Maybe I'll come up with something better later :)

Sometimes it's difficult to pick the photo of the week, especially when we've been really busy. Too many photos to go through :)

Last week we spent a few days with some really good friends at their family trailer up near Sauble. Was such fun times. :))

I picked this photo because it represents a lot of those few days. Yeah, we fished and shopped too, but Ben's most favourite thing is being at the water. And when he's happy, I'm happy ;)

PHOTOGRAPHY FOR FUN: Scott Kelby World Wide Photo Walk - July 24, 2010

Finally, some pictures from the WWPW.

It was kind of a 'blah' day. Rain, rain, rain and I was feeling a tiny bit under the weather myself. But it's always great to get together with friends to take some pictures! :)

As mentioned in a previous post, Bryan Weiss, of Daytripper Photo led the Newmarket walk.

We thought we would wait out the rain a bit under one of the picnic shelters. I'm sure the family who was BBQing and having a picnic there was a bit surprised when our group with all of our cameras showed up. ;)

We finally decided to head out. I think we would have been better off if we all had feet like these....

I had hoped for a better shot of this bridge, but it didn't turn out quite how I would have liked.

We headed up Main Street for a little bit.

Then my friends and I snuck out for a few minutes to try some Geo-caching. And we were even successful!

And the skies did start to clear up......of course once we were all done and heading home.

This was my first time participating in the Scott Kelby World Wide Photo Walk, and I'd do it again for sure. Always fun to get out and picture the world with friends and meet new people.
