PHOTO OF THE WEEK #17 - He Melts My Heart

I took so many photos last week of so many awesome people that it was REALLY difficult to pick my photo of the week for that week. I think this one is it though. And you've already seen it earlier this week as well. This little guy just melts my heart. :)

Meet the Hargreaves Family!

We had to reschedule their session due to nasty weather, and we were so lucky to get such a nice day this time.  This time of year, you just never know what it's going to be like.

Here's Mom

And Dad

And their three adorable children!!

I had such a fun time with them. :)

Thanks so much for the opportunity to photograph your fun, beautiful family. I hope you like your sneak peaks.

CLIENT SHOOTS: Mother and Son

What fun to have another one of the kids from the ball team I coached come by for pictures on Mini-Session Day. He is definitely a cutie (wait....is he too old to be referred to as a cutie now??).

We also got some pictures with his Mom (unfortunately, Dad was not able to make it to the session). I love the Mother and Son photos. They remind me of when I take pictures of me with Ben. :))

Here are some of the photos from their session.

Boys just can't stay off the trees. :)

And this is my favourite of the bunch.

Thanks Cris for coming by with Sam to have your photos taken. I hope you liked your sneak peak.

Thanks for looking!!

CLIENT SHOOTS: Gina and Her Handsome Boys

I first met Gina down at a my Photographer friend, Sheri Belanger's studio when she had her Open House for Daspar Design. That's when I found out that Gina actually lived in Tottenham.

So I had to go all the way to Toronto to meet her! :) Since then, our paths have crossed many times. Her son played softball on the team I coached this past summer, and Gina did our pitching for us. Plus, she plays ball herself, so I ran into her at ball tournaments and at the joint Women's and Old Timer's ball banquet.

I finally got her in front of the camera!

She's got three handsome boys.

And this one is the one who played ball with Ben. :)

A gorgeous family.

And we took a few fun shots at the end as well. :)

Thanks Gina for coming out and for bringing the boys. I hope you liked your sneak peak.

Thanks for looking!!

CLIENT SHOOTS: Another session with the Brown Family :)

I love all the little faces in this family. And there are a lot of them. :) They all came over on Mini-Session day and they were all so good.

Here's Mom and Dad

And here are all of their adorable little ones.

Here's Daddy keeping some little hands warm. Yes, it was a bit chilly that day. But at least it didn't rain on us. :)

And here they all are together. :)

Thanks so much for coming over again. Next time we'll have to include the new dog. ;)

Thanks for looking.

MY COMMUNITY: An Afternoon With Aussie Rescue :)

I have so many sessions to blog this week! I love it. :)

I thought I'd start with some of our furry friends. On October 16th, Ben, Maggie and I headed over to Milton for an Aussie Rescue fun doggie play date. We adopted Maggie from the Aussie Rescue Placement Helpline organization...from the South Western Ontario group. You may remember photos I took a couple of years ago at a similar 'Aussie Bounce', even before we had our own dog.

It was a bit of a rainy day, but doggies don't mind. So I guess their humans can't mind it either. Luckily, the rain wasn't too bad at all. :)

Michele Taras, a fantastic Photographer, and I, took some photos for those people who wanted doggie photos taken, for donations to Aussie Rescue. It was a lot of fun. She took the more posed photos with some bales of straw and an awesome old barn wall as a background. I attempted to get some action shots. You know...those Aussies LOVE to run!!

Here is a photo of Michele and her foster dog, Scooter. Aren't they a cute couple!?!?

The dogs there were either there with their Foster humans or with their Forever humans. Ben had never seen so many dogs all at one time. Unfortunately, for him, they were more interested in chasing each other around than in playing with him! heehee

Here are a bunch of photos that I took that afternoon.

I already posted this one as my Photo of the Week from that week, but couldn't help post it again. This is our Maggie. She did not want me to be on the other side of that fence taking photos of other dogs without her.

So I did invite her over with Ben to have a few pictures taken. I really wanted to post a different picture, but Ben won't let me. It's sooooo cute, and gross at the same time. Maggie is sure quick with her tongue! ;)

Just look at this face! :)

Thanks for looking!

CLIENT SHOOTS: Look who's back!

You'll never guess who I found sneaking around the neighbourhood last week.

Yes, that's right. It's Mrs. Claus!!

No, Mrs. Claus, you can't take that tree to use for a Christmas tree.

Enough relaxing, there's a lot of work to get done before Christmas. Like helping wrap presents.

Quit horsing around! There's a lot to do to help Santa prepare.

That's better.

I think the decorations belong on the tree, not you....

Ummmm does Mr. Claus know about your 'friend'?

Hey!! This is no time for drinks and snacks. There's work to be done. What are you doing?

Oooh, waiting for the BIG day......

Well, don't forget that first you'll be at the Tottenham Community and Fitness Centre for the Women's Christmas Showcase of South Simcoe on November 12th starting at 10:00am. We're taking pictures with Mrs. Claus for donations to 'My Sister's Place' again this year. Let's see if we can beat our total from last year (which was $171.25)!!

Thanks for looking! We hope to see you at the Women's Christmas Showcase on November 12th! :)
